A major investment to provide quality facilities

Montreal, Thursday, March 6, 2025 – On the occasion of International Women's Day, Éconofitness announces an investment of $100 to modernize its women-only gym located in the Côte-des-Neiges borough. This upgrade now allows members to enjoy high-quality cardio and training equipment in an even more welcoming and inclusive environment. Through this initiative, Éconofitness wants to encourage women to discover the benefits of an active lifestyle and build their confidence, all in a space where they feel safe, free from judgment and at the top of their game.

A strong commitment to accessibility and the place of women in sport
By modernizing this environment, Éconofitness wants to offer women a space where they feel comfortable and confident to train at their own pace. This branch, reserved exclusively for women, is designed to meet their needs and promote a sense of well-being and security. This upgrade also helps create a more friendly and conducive atmosphere for training, where everyone can evolve in a respectful and inspiring environment, without intimidation.

Thanks to this investment, the branch Éconofitness de Côte-des-Neiges is acquiring 11 new treadmills, 8 ellipticals, 4 stair simulators (StairMasters) and 6 stationary bikes, guaranteeing an optimal training experience.

« At Éconofitness, we firmly believe that physical activity plays a key role in women's well-being and helps build their self-confidence. This investment aims to modernize our Côte-des-Neiges gym to offer them a motivating and inspiring space, with state-of-the-art equipment comparable to that of all our other establishments. ", explains Renaud Beaudry, Chief Operating Officer at Éconofitness.

Éconofitness is committed to providing modern and affordable facilities to Quebec women, allowing them to train in a comfortable and safe environment. It is with this in mind that Éconofitness makes available 4 exclusively women's gyms, including the Côte-des-Neiges branch, and 5 other gyms with Platinum Training Zones for women.

The company also reaffirms its support for the active participation of women in sport, notably through its partnership with the Ligue professionnelle de hockey féminine (LPHF) and its philanthropic involvement with the Fillactive foundation.
