The company announces the acquisition of a 17,000 square foot warehouseLocated in the Saint-Georges industrial park in Beauce, the facility will be converted into a central production kitchen. This new infrastructure will increase operational capacity, support the supply of the two branches, which house a delicatessen, catering service, and restaurant, and prepare for the opening of a future Les Pères Nature store in the greater Quebec City area.

The central kitchen will allow for increased production of homemade products, focusing on freshness and sourcing from local producers. We've noticed that people are looking to consume quality local products while staying within their budget. We make sure to meet this need by focusing on homemade recipes, fresh ingredients, and sourcing from local producers. " explains Maréva Bédard, co-owner of Les Pères Nature

A local company experiencing rapid growth
This announcement is part of a development strategy aimed at reaching new markets by opening 4 to 6 new locations. Les Pères Nature now has 2 branches and 240 employees.

In addition to increasing production capacity, the company hopes to create jobs in the coming years and represents a lever for economic development for the region.

A central point in the company's development
Conceived as a growth engine, the future central kitchen will strengthen Les Pères Nature's offerings across several key categories, including ready-to-eat meals, baked goods, cookies, and various other homemade products. It will also support the artisanal work carried out at the specialty counters, particularly in pastry, by ensuring increased capacity and consistent volumes. The cheese and fish counters will remain central to the in-store experience, supplied by a curated selection and regular deliveries, complementing the in-house processing.

Les Pères Nature's signature style is based on an integrated model, where approximately 70% of the products sold are made on-site. This structure allows them to preserve freshness, reduce waste, and maintain a high level of quality control. It is also based on a vision of focusing on the production of homemade products across all 18 departments and its restaurant.
