A Belgian Triple Apple-Maple brewed with the Verger Bilodeau Cider House and a day of celebrations to highlight its island brewing history
Sainte-Famille-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Monday, June 15, 2026 — Twenty years after brewing its first beers in the heart of one of Quebec's most beautiful villages, the Île d'Orléans microbrewery celebrates its 20th anniversary with the launch of an exclusive beer created for the occasion and a festive program that will bring the community together on June 20th.
« Looking back at how far we've come since 2006, there's plenty to be proud of. What began as a passion project has become one of Quebec's pioneering microbreweries. For 20 years, we've been telling the story of Île d'Orléans through our beers, drawing inspiration from its people, traditions, and history. Today, our products are enjoyed throughout Quebec, but our hearts remain here on the island. ", said Simon-Pierre Turcotte, general manager of the Microbrasserie de l'Île d'Orléans.
An anniversary beer in homage to the flavors of the island
To mark this anniversary, the microbrewery unveils the Belgian Triple Apple-MapleAn anniversary brew, this beer was brewed in collaboration with Cidrerie Verger Bilodeau, two companies deeply rooted in the terroir of Île d'Orléans. Refermented in the bottle, this extra-strong beer, at 9% ABV, blends the fruity notes of apple must with a subtle touch of maple syrup. Rich and warming, it reveals aromas of ripe fruit, spices, and light caramel in an elegant and refined finish. More than just a beer, this anniversary creation is a tribute to the region that has inspired Microbrasserie de l'Île d'Orléans since 2006 and to those who contribute daily to preserving its culinary heritage.
A day to celebrate 20 years of history
Le 20 next JuneThe Île d'Orléans Microbrewery will open its doors to the general public for a big day of celebrations highlighting its 20 years of existence. From 11 a.m., visitors will be invited to immerse themselves in the world of the microbrewery through a free program showcasing its history, its know-how and its deep attachment to the island terroir.
