Montreal, June 23, 2026 — Repreneurial Quebec announces the appointment of Jean-François Lévesque as chair of its board of directors, as the organization publishes its activity report 2025-2026The first under its new identity. These announcements are part of a year of transformation for the organization, marked by a renewal of its governance, a repositioning of its service offering and an increased presence in the Quebec business succession ecosystem.
New governance to support the next stage of development
Jean-François Lévesque, a director of Repreneurat Québec since 2025, succeeds François Faucher, who had served on the board of directors since 2019 and as its president since 2023. The organization highlights Mr. Faucher's significant contribution to the development of Repreneurat Québec and to the governance of business succession in Quebec over the past few years.
Repreneurat Québec also wishes to thank outgoing directors Marcel Thuot and Luc Pinard for their commitment to its mission. The organization also welcomes three new members to its board of directors, further enriching the expertise gathered around the table:
- Caroline Thuot, president of Techno Diesel
- Annick Lambert, Associate Vice-Principal, Recruitment, Marketing and Communications at Bishop's University
- Amélie Craig, Vice-President, Strategy and Business Solutions at the Fonds régionaux de solidarité FTQ

A technology entrepreneur and corporate director, Jean-François Lévesque has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, governance, and technology. He co-founded Fibrenoire, a Quebec-based company specializing in fiber optic connectivity, which was sold to Videotron in 2016. He then founded and led Obkio, a SaaS company specializing in network monitoring and troubleshooting, which was sold in 2023. He is now embarking on a new phase of his career focused on governance.
