Friday January 13, 20:30 p.m. // Singing Pianos
Two singers, two pianos, laughter and performance!! This is what Gill Poitras and Alexandre Racine offer. Dressed in retro costumes and hats, the two artists arrive on stage and sit face to face in front of this unique piece of furniture. From the first notes, smiles appear on the faces of the spectators when they recognize the voice of Louis Armstrong through that of Gill Poitras. Well-known tunes by Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley and the Beatles follow. At each stage of the show, they want us to travel a little further.

The group was formed in 2005, the result of a discussion between a few music students who wanted to play together for their own pleasure. The primary mission was to offer a quality show with an original and different repertoire. Observing a positive response from show to show, the group therefore decided to expand the repertoire in order to be able to meet all needs in terms of performing groups. Since its formation, a few musicians have come to sit on the bench and got up, but since January 2008, the members present are well seated and are ready to give the best of themselves in each performance.
