Ensemble inc. invite les entreprises à s’engager pour la diversité et l’inclusion

Québec, le mardi 15 mars 2022 – Le mouvement Ensemble inc., apparu sur la scène entrepreneuriale québécoise en 2021, réitère son invitation aux entreprises québécoises en lançant aujourd’hui sa campagne de sensibilisation 2022. La proposition est simple : s’engager, comme entreprise, à promouvoir la diversité et l’inclusion sous toutes ses formes. Ensemble inc. rêve d’un avenir misant sur l’équité et la diversité dans le milieu des affaires. Sa campagne de sensibilisation 2022 souhaite voir un nombre grandissant d’entreprises s’impliquer dans cette lutte et ainsi faire partie de la solution.
AGIR CHACUN À SA FAÇON
Pour une deuxième année, le mouvement Ensemble inc. lance un appel à l’action qui peut prendre différentes formes pour chaque entreprise. Que ce soit par exemple d’atteindre des taux spécifiques de parité, d’offrir des formations à ses employés ou encore de modifier sa façon de recruter, les milieux d’affaires souhaitant faire partie de la solution choisissent et définissent eux-mêmes leur plan d’action.
La démarche active se déroule en trois étapes : d’abord, il faut s’engager à une action concrète promouvant la diversité dans son entreprise ou son réseau d’affaires. Ensuite, il faut publier son engagement, une implication concrète et mesurable, soit sur le site web du mouvement ou sur LinkedIn avec le mot-clic #EnsembleInc, et finalement il faut lancer un appel à l’action à un contact afin qu’à son tour, il ou elle s’engage.
LA DIVERSITÉ AU SERVICE DE L’ÉCONOMIE
En s’appuyant les uns sur les autres, en partageant les différences, les forces et les réussites, Ensemble inc. fait valoir que la promotion de la diversité, la mise en place de bonnes pratiques et les initiatives à dimension humaine au sein des organisations nous permettent d’assurer l’avenir des entreprises et la prospérité du Québec.

DES MENTALITÉS EN CONSTANTE ÉVOLUTION
Bien que la société québécoise en soit une d’accueil et d’ouverture, beaucoup de progrès reste à faire en matière d’inclusion au sein des instances décisionnelles. Il existe toujours une multitude de freins, conscients ou inconscients, tels les préjugés, la discrimination et le racisme, qui sont encore malheureusement trop présents. Ces biais limitants et cette méconnaissance face à l’autre nuisent à la promotion et à l’application globale de la diversité dans les entreprises et par le fait même aux performances et au développement de ces dernières.
Ensemble inc. se bat pour faire avancer cette cause tout en étant convaincue d’assurer l’avenir des entreprises et la prospérité du Québec.

Québec city, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 – The Ensemble inc. movement, which appeared on the Québec entrepreneurial scene in 2021, reiterates today its invitation to Québec businesses by launching its 2022 awareness campaign. The proposal is simple: To commit, as a business, to the promotion of diversity and inclusion in all its forms. Ensemble inc. has a vision for a future of equity and diversity in the business sector. Its 2022 awareness campaign hopes to see a growing number of businesses get involved in this fight and thus become part of the solution.
ACTING EACH IN OUR OWN WAY
For a second year, the Ensemble inc. movement launches a call to action which can take different forms depending on each business. Whether it’s for example reaching a specific gender parity rate, providing training to employees or modifying its recruiting practices, businesses that want to be part of the solution can choose and define their own action plan.
The active approach consists of three steps: first, a commitment must be made towards concrete action in promoting diversity in the business or business network. Then a post must be made concerning this commitment, a concrete and measurable involvement, either on the movement’s website or on LinkedIn with the keyword #EnsembleInc, and finally you must send a call to action to a contact so that he or she, in turn, gets involved.

By relying on each other, by sharing our differences, strengths and accomplishments, Ensemble inc. emphasizes that the promotion of diversity, the implementation of best practices and initiatives on a human scale within organizations allow us to ensure the future of businesses and the prosperity of the province of Québec.

Although Québec is a welcoming and open society, much progress remains to be made in terms of inclusion in decision-making bodies. There are unfortunately still too many obstacles, conscious or unconscious, such as prejudice, discrimination and racism. These limiting biases and lack of knowledge about one another are detrimental to the promotion and overall application of diversity in business and, by extension, to business performance and development.
Ensemble inc. is fighting to advance this cause while being convinced of ensuring the future of businesses and the prosperity of Québec.

In only one year, Ensemble inc. has succeeded in mobilizing several large and recognized businesses as well as governmental and paragovernmental institutions in all kinds of fields. Canam Group, Edelman, Mirego, BiogeniQ, Omy Laboratories, Hydro-Québec, Revenu Québec, Totem, Investissement Québec, ALDO Group, Workind, Norton Rose Fulbright, Edgenda, the Conseil du patronat du Québec and Panthera Dental, just to name a few, have chosen to be part of the solution.
ABOUT ENSEMBLE INC.
Ensemble Inc. is a non-profit organization born out of a desire to promote diversity in all its forms in the Québec business community. Through various actions, Ensemble inc. invites business people to make a concrete and measurable commitment to greater diversity and equity in their organizations. The institution was founded by Gwenaelle Thibaut and a team of volunteers in September 2020, who, after several years on the labor market, were concerned about the lack of diversity in Québec businesses. Ensemble inc. strives to make society more innovative and profitable by seeing 500,000 people issued from diversity in all its forms integrate the decision-making spheres of Québec organizations by 2025.
