A first philanthropic event that brings together the business community of the National Capital Region around the mission of the only private high school in Old Quebec
Quebec, October 15, 2026 Because the best stories often begin in the classroom, the François-de-Laval College Foundation will hold its very first edition on November 5th. Break, a benefit cocktail that will bring together the business community of the Capitale-Nationale at the Chapel of the Séminaire de Québec.
Under the honorary co-presidency of two former students of the College, Jean-Pierre Lessard, economist and co-founding partner of AVISEO Conseil, and Florence Brouillard, president of the BROUILLARD RP agency, the event invites the community to contribute to the sustainability of a unique educational heritage in the heart of Old Quebec, while supporting the evolution of its educational project.
For over three centuries, Collège François-de-Laval has helped shape generations of young people who have gone on to leave their mark on Quebec society. From Pierre-Joseph-Olivier Chauveau, Quebec's first premier, to Jean Lesage, and including lyricist Luc Plamondon, Olympic champion Sylvie Bernier, actor Yves Jacques, and novelist Chrystine Brouillet, numerous prominent figures from the political, cultural, sporting, and economic spheres received their education within its walls. The Foundation now seeks to perpetuate this legacy by empowering a new generation to forge their own paths.
Pleasure + Impact: The profits will be primarily dedicated to educational innovation projects.

November 5, 2026, from 17:30 p.m. to 21 p.m.
